Coupons apply discounts to products in a your store. When a
customer enters a coupon code in the shopping cart or clicks on a coupon link,
the coupon gets added to their shopping cart. If the products in the shopping
cart qualify for the coupon discount based on the criteria that you established
when you created the coupon, then ShopSite applies the discount. The shopping
cart shows the coupon as "applied" and lists the discount that the coupon is
applying.
Because ShopSite has coupons you can use them in a variety of ways. For example
you could do an e-mail promotion where you said:

this month and receive $25.00 off any order.
Click here to activate your coupon!
Another example would be to do a mailing or distribute a flyer with a coupon
code displayed.
Purchase a Tape Machine
and received $10.00 off the regular price. Enter
the following code when checking out: 1016667570
